This afternoon in the park near our apartment there was a big gathering of 20-30 people. I couldn't really tell what they were talking about, but a few of them had clipboards and several times one of them would stand on the ledge of the fountain to speak loudly to the assorted group. They were mostly men, but not exclusively, and there was a big age range. My guess would be it was some sort of union organizing or similar gathering.
Oh, and four of the men were in full clown costumes, makeup and all. One was even carrying what appeared to be a ventriloquist dummy. Also dressed as a clown.
