K has written before about the tendency here in Mexico to fix mechanical objects rather than dispose of them, and the way that at times it makes the country seems like it is still the 70's. So I was not surprised at all to walk by a typewriter store today. Granted they were mostly electric typewriters from the end of the 20th century and not funky antique typewriters, but still it was cool.
